Our Ranch

Big Oak Ranch is named after the amazing Oak tree
that dominates our front porch view,
said to be around 200 years old.
It sits on the south side of a creek that runs
directly through our property,
A tree expert told me that this is why it grew 
to be so big and healthy. 

Our property is about 40 acres, very small
by ranch standards, and we raise
a few head of cattle, ride horses
and have a small yearly grass hay crop
 of about 30 tons. We have raised
purebred Goldens on a small scale
for almost 10 years now.
