Is shipping an option?
Many people ask if it is safe to
ship a puppy, they think animals are drugged and put in a box and
treated like a mail order item. If this were how animals are shipped
we would never ship our puppies!!
We have had very good luck shipping pups through Alaska/Horizon,
Continental and Delta airlines both Continental, Alaska/Horizon use
Climate controlled Vans to transport pets from the Cargo dept. to the
airplanes, where they are placed in climate controlled cargo dept of
the airline this is a lot like the cabin of the airplane without the
seats and windows. Puppies are never drugged, they are shipped in a
safe crate that and they can easily see out the sides and front, with
food and water, a toy and a blanket, extra food is taped to the side
of the crate in the event of an unexpected layover. Shipping pups
takes a lot of time and planning, pups must be taken to the vet just
before shipping to get a shipping health certificate, we also spend
several days getting puppy used to their shipping crate, we also use
crates that are bigger then the airlines require for the size of the
puppy, this gives added comfort on shipping day and also provides you
in most cases, with a crate that can be used for a few months after
you get your puppy. We can ship puppies within the continental
US. The charge for this service is $275.00, it includes the crate,
vet-health cert and shipping crate, sometimes we can offer a discount
on shipping depending on the ticket price and if we are going to the
airport to ship another puppy the same day. The airport is a 3 hr
round trip drive for us so we combine puppy travel whenever possible.
Can I pick up my puppy?
Yes we allow the puppies that will be picked up here to leave after
they are 7 1/2 weeks old.
Do you allow the general public to
visit and handle your puppies?
No, we are very serious about protecting our puppies, only those who
have a deposit and a vested interest in our pups are allowed to come
and visit. While we do understand the interest in this breed and why
many great families want to just come and visit and hold one, a lot of
times people will go from place to place viewing and playing with
puppies. What they do not realize is that they will be exposing our
pups to whatever germs were at the last several places they visited.
Do you have a health warranty?
Yes, all puppies come with a 72 hr health warranty that gives you time
to take the puppy to your vet and have a full check up to make sure
you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not
completely satisfied the puppy must be returned to us ASAP for a full
purchase price refund. Any shipping charges are non-refundable. In
addition a 2 yr health warranty that covers certain genetic defects is
provided.
